More Info About the Map
Getting your garden — small or large — on the map enables us to better advocate for policies that support urban growing, and serves as an inspiration for other Pittsburghers who are just starting out. It’s a wonderful way to show just what a green thumb Pittsburgh really has!
This user-generated map has provided a way for gardeners to gain some visibility since it first launched in 2011. In 2016, we revamped the map to include photos for community and school gardens and urban farms.
