Congratulations to the 2014 Community Garden Sustainability Fund recipients! The Community Garden Sustainability Fund is a partnership of Grow Pittsburgh and the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy. The fund provides the opportunity for existing community gardens in Allegheny County to complete projects that contribute to the sustainability of their gardens.
We received 25 applications this season and had to make some difficult decisions. In all, the Community Garden Sustainability Fund will support projects in 19 gardens throughout the county on projects ranging from fence installation to rain barrels.
